The TruCHAT Facebook integration allows you to easily create a Facebook Messenger bot with natural language understanding, based on the TruCHAT technology. In this article we will describe how to configure the integration with Facebook Messenger. We will look into the following aspects:

Setting Up Facebook
In order to set up the Facebook integration for your agent, you'll need the following:
- a Facebook account
- a Facebook page to add your agent to
When a user visits your page and sends you a message, they'll be talking to agent.
Create a Facebook App
1. Log into the Facebook Developer Console.
2. Click on My Apps in the upper right hand corner. Click on Create App and enter a name and contact email address
3. Select the app type and click Continue.
On the next page, click the Set Up button for the Messenger option.
Under the Access Tokens section, click on the Add or Remove pages button for choose one of your Facebook pages or click Create New Page to create a new page first.
Click on the Generate Token button
Check the box I Understand and copy Page Access Token. Keep this token handy, as you'll need to enter it in TruCHAT.
Setting Up TruCHAT
In TruCHAT, go to Connections in the left hand menu
Select existing connection or click the Add button to add a new connection
