Introduction

This article will give an overview of the Import History page, give a hint on how to get there, and describe its main parts. Knowing how this page is organized will help you manage a large amount of import data, view the related statistics and find possible import errors quickly and easily. Import History Page Overview

Import History is a page on the Messaging platform where you can find the main statistics for each import instance. This page provides you with the following information: import date and time, total number of contacts in the imported file, the number of added or updated contacts, the number of contacts with invalid email addresses, and the import status. We will talk about each parameter later on.

How to Find the Import History Page

To find the "Import History" page, go to the "Contacts" section, click on the three-dot button and select "Import History".

Import History Page Main Parts

Import Date

The Import Date column shows the date and time when the import was completed.

Total

The Total column shows the total number of contacts in the imported file.

Added

The Added column shows the number of added contacts. Non-zero values in this column are clickable and lead you to the contacts section with the list of all the added contacts.

Updated

The Updated column shows the number of updated contacts in case you selected the "Add new contacts and update existing contacts" option while setting the import rules.

Invalid Emails

The Invalid Emails column shows the number of contacts with invalid emails.

Status

The Status column shows the import status, which can be one of the following: "Import succeeded", "Partial import", and "Import removed". In case of partial import, you can click "Download errors" and get the imported file with the additional column "Errors". Then just update this file and upload it again.
